Nazi Positive Actions

During the Nazi regime, animal rights were introduced for the first time in human history. This means the government recognized the importance of respecting animals and protecting their welfare.  Additionally, hunting seasons were limited, meaning there were specific times of the year when hunting was allowed and other times when it was not.  This was done to prevent the overhunting of certain species.  Furthermore, Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany, made animal testing illegal. This means that experiments on animals were no longer allowed due to the belief that it was cruel and inhumane. Nazis had the first public anti-smoking campaign at a time when smoking was not linked to cancer.
