The Scriptures teach us that humanity is genetically coded to sin against the Almighty God ever since Adam and Eve’s first recorded historical sin against the Creator explained in the Book of Genesis. To understand a repented nature, one must understand the seriousness of SIN.
Scriptural Verses Regarding Sin:
“Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Psalms 51:5
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” Romans 5:12
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
The GREAT DILEMMA with humanity is that God has separated us from Himself. “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2.
Throughout the Old Testament & New Testament of the scriptures’ teachings, God clearly illustrates that humanity is guilty before the Creator because The Almighty Father will not tolerate humankind’s sin. A sincere individual seeking God can unite himself with God, but such a person must be willing to surrender to God under His terms unconditionally. For a person to unconditionally surrender to God’s saving grace, they need to understand SIN. Take heed, sin has separated us from God, and therefore this is why God will not hear us. The Almighty God is Holy and will not tolerate unholiness. Understanding God’s Holiness explains why a man needs to be regenerated by God’s supernatural work of salvation by being given a repented heart by the Creator.
“And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.” Isaiah 6:3.
“Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” Exodus 15:11.
